At the 2017 Catholic Theological Society of America meeting, I had the opportunity to speak with theologian (and one of my favorite Canadians) Greg Hillis. We were on a panel together (with the great Annie Selak), and afterwards we recorded this conversation. In it we discuss Greg’s Thomas Merton-inspired tattoo (and his Merton research), his experience of inter-church marriage, and why he would canonize former Toronto Blue Jay José Bautista.
